An Excellent Hold
After its career-best opening of ₹41.1 Cr, Scene held strong on Day 2, collecting around ₹39.45 Cr worldwide. That’s only a small dip from its first day, a sign of strong word of mouth.
Tamil Nadu Leads
Tamil Nadu continues to lead the way with ₹23 Cr in two days, more than double its opening day collection.
Kerala Keeps Rolling
Kerala has crossed ₹10.8 Cr in just two days, a huge number for a Suriya film in the state. Director Jithu Madhavan’s following among Malayalam audiences, along with Naslen and Nazriya Nazim in the cast, continues to drive big crowds.
Telugu States Pick Up
The Telugu states have also grown well, with ₹8.75 Cr in two days, more than double the opening day’s ₹4 Cr. Despite mixed early reviews in Telugu, the film is drawing audiences steadily.
Overseas Strong
Overseas has brought in ₹32.7 Cr, close to 40% of the film’s worldwide total, with Tamil and Malayalam audiences abroad turning up in large numbers.
₹100 Cr Today
With Diwali today, Scene needs a little under ₹20 Cr more to cross the ₹100 Cr mark, and it is set to get there today, in just three days.
For a film made on a budget of around ₹50 Cr, which already recovered its cost from non-theatrical rights, that’s a fantastic run. Scene is now well on its way to its ₹200 Cr hit target, and another big success for Suriya.
